About & Benefits

What is coaching?

Coaching is a partnership between Coach and Client/s designed to forward and enhance the process of learning, effectiveness, and fulfilment. A transition  occurs when it’s determined who you need to be, how you’re going get there, and the action to take to create change.

It is assessing your life, or your business, and ultimately your decisions from a different perspective or aiming for achievements you’d previously not thought possible. This is where the calibration comes in. It is empowering, is based on experiential learning, clarifies what  ‘different’ means, and holds  you accountable. It will help you evaluate priorities, re-set boundaries and redefine success.

Why coaching?

Coaching is a process of calibration, using a variety of methods and techniques that are solution-focused and work. The process is simple, yet challenging – and is often confronting. It will support you to take care and inspire your life or approach to work in healthy and sustainable ways. It addresses experiences from a mental, emotional, behavioural and spiritual level, to gain a holistic view.

At the completion of each session, whether personal or group, an Action Plan is agreed; detailing the intentions, goals, exercises or actions needed to reach the objectives. There is follow-up, and an established commitment to focus on what you want to achieve, and if there are hurdles along the way – we work with them too.

How does it work?

The coaching partnership is collaborative, supporting through transitions to make purposeful change. The Client sets the agenda, the Coach doesn’t give advice or judgment, but instead tailors the sessions so it is relevant and on course for success.

Sessions can be 1:1, with teams, to guide  organisational alignment, or providing consultation and assistance with writing and material development for internal communications.

Thanks for visiting be.  I’d like to share some insights to me and what I believe in. The vision to start my own business  started when I came across the Gandhi quote ‘be the change you wish to see in the world’.  It instantly altered my perspective on life and how change occurs. It taught me that I have the power to change, and to take responsibility for the type of life I want to live.

My purpose is to elevate. To elevate myself and others to be their brilliant self, this is why I’ve set up be. as the vessel.  I  know through presence, awareness and creating meaningful relationships with yourself, others and the wider world, both you and I can achieve an elevated state.

By generously sharing my business prowess and knowledge; by tapping into people’s own wisdom and experiences; plus a sprinkling of my tricks in coaching, leadership development, meditation, yoga and other training I’ve had along the path –  I can  collaborate with others to guide  them  towards  reaching their goals and vision of ‘be’ing.

I’ve worked as a professional coach for the past six years, and in the Australian creative and marketing industry for over 15 years. I completed a 2-year diploma in Transpersonal Coaching, however I believe I will never stop learning and participating in courses in this area – I recently did a mindful leadership course, which got me excited that the business world is seeing the value of the practice. I’ve also completed a Ba. Communication, am a member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and an accredited KY Kundalini yoga and meditation teacher. I’ve also been credentialed in the HBDI personality profile tools. Perhaps my biggest feat in life was completing my dream of walking the Camino de Santiago in 2015 – 800kms across the north of Spain in the freezing winter conditions.

In my spare time I love being outdoors and active, swimming in the ocean, kundalini yoga, travelling, and I adore meeting new people, learning and experiencing new things – this year it is developing plans to commercialise my own products and writing more. I’m especially curious about people and what makes them tick… and exploring what gets them excited about their life.

Feel free to look at my LinkedIn profile for my professional experience.
